Plain-English version of what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect
We collect three categories of data:
- Information you give us. When you submit a vendor listing, claim a profile, or join a waitlist, you give us your name, email, business details, and any notes you include. We store that to process your request.
- Information your browser sends. IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer. Standard server logs.
- Information from cookies. Session cookies for the admin area and any preferences you set. No advertising cookies. We do not run third-party ad networks on this site.
What we don't collect
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't share your email with vendors or third parties for marketing.
- We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
- We don't track you across other websites.
- We don't run fingerprinting or session-replay tools.
How we use what we collect
- To answer your inquiry or process your submission.
- To send transactional email (e.g., confirming you submitted a listing).
- To operate and improve the site (analytics on what content is read).
- To prevent fraud and abuse on submission forms.
- To comply with the law when required.
Analytics and tools
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which guides and directory pages are useful. Analytics data is aggregated and not tied to your identity.
We host on Vercel and use Vercel Blob storage for form submissions and vendor photos. Those services receive request logs as part of normal operation.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data, where we're not legally required to keep it.
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Opt out of any non-transactional emails.
Email legal@allwedding.us with the request. We respond within 30 days. California, Virginia, and EU residents have additional rights under CCPA, VCDPA, and GDPR respectively; the request process is the same.
Data retention
- Form submissions are retained for 24 months after submission.
- Server logs are retained for 90 days.
- Vendor profiles remain published until you ask us to remove them.
- Backups are retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.
Children's privacy
All Wedding is for adults planning weddings. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data, email legal@allwedding.us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes (e.g., new categories of data collected) will be announced via a banner on the site for 30 days.
