How we write and fact-check.
Every guide on All Wedding is written by a human, fact-checked against real vendor quotes, and updated when the market shifts. Here's exactly how.
Who writes
All Wedding guides are written by our editorial team. Every author has a bio page listing their credentials, and every article is signed. Freelance writers are welcome; guest posts and sponsored content are not.
Our AI policy
We do not publish AI-generated content. We may use AI tools for research synthesis, grammar checking, or brainstorming headlines. No final text on this site was produced by a language model without a human writing and editing it from scratch.
We think the "AI-first" content arms race is a losing play for readers and for publishers. Our bet is that people still want to read things written by people who know what they're talking about.
Fact-checking
Every guide goes through two checks before publishing:
- Editor review: a second editor reads the piece for factual accuracy, voice, and clarity.
- Source verification: pricing, vendor counts, and market claims are cross-checked against at least two sources (recent quotes we've collected, vendor websites, or direct phone calls).
We cite specific numbers. When we quote a price range, it comes from real quotes we've seen this quarter, not a five-year-old industry survey.
Updates and corrections
Pricing, vendor availability, and seasonal notes change. We update guides when the market shifts, and always show a "last updated" date on every guide header.
If you find a factual error, email the editor listed on the guide or write to corrections@allwedding.us. We review corrections within 5 business days. If we publish a correction, the change is noted in the updated article.
Disclosures
If a vendor is linked as "featured" or "partner," the label is visible in the listing. Featured placements do not affect the ranking in the main directory.
If we link to an affiliate product (rare, and never in ranking positions), the link includes rel="sponsored" and the article notes the relationship.
Guide authors with a personal connection to a vendor disclose it in the byline.
Vendor relationships
Vendors cannot pay for a guide mention. Vendors cannot pay to influence a ranking in the main directory. Vendors can pay for clearly-labeled featured placement and for enhanced profile features. Those products are priced and disclosed on our submit-vendor page.
What we don't cover
We cover US weddings. We do not cover international destination weddings in depth yet. We will eventually.
We cover the planning and vendor side of weddings. We do not publish wedding fashion features, celebrity wedding coverage, or proposal content. Other publications do that well.
Questions about a specific guide?
Every guide has the author and last-updated date in the byline. For questions about sources or methodology, email editorial@allwedding.us.
